Backend
Engineer (PHP)Hello! We are seeking a motivated and skilled Backend Engineer with 1 year of experience in PHP. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to build and maintain the backend systems that support our products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to grow and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of backend systems using PHP, Laravel;
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
- Help design and implement RESTful APIs;
- Optimize and refactor existing code for performance and scalability;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices;
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in backend development with PHP;
- Knowledge of modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel);
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services;
- Experience with databases, such as MySQL;
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- At least Intermediate English level;
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Good to know
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus;
- Knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks (e.g., React);
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
